From Union Station TTC: check that you’re taking the exit towards the GO station. Walk straight through the atrium (Sephora should be on your left) to the escalators (next to LCBO), and take them up to the GO train waiting area. Check the screens for the train platform for the Lakeshore West train going to West Harbour GO – not all of them go all the way there. Tap your PRESTO card on the terminal before going up to the platform.

Take the Lakeshore West train to West Harbour GO (about 1.5 hours).

Exit West Harbour station and walk to James St N (walk East towards the playground set). Turn right on James, then left on Barton St E. Walk about two blocks to the bus stop between John St N and Catherine St N, and take bus number 2 to Barton at Barnesdale (about 20 min).

Turn right on Barnesdale St N, and the first intersection should be Solidarnosc Pl – turn right and walk until you see Legion branch 315.

Walk through the over-road passage, keep left (do not go up the escalators) and turn right into Union Station GO Bus Terminal. Take the first escalator down to the platform for GO Bus 16.

Take GO Bus 16 to Hamilton GO Centre Bus Terminal (about an hour, assuming no traffic).

Upon exiting the bus, turn towards the bus bays and the road the bus drove on into the terminal (away from the GO station). Do not enter the GO station. Cross the bus road and look for the sign for bus number 2 on your left. Take bus number 2 to Barton at Barnesdale (about 20 min).

Turn right on Barnesdale St N, and the first intersection should be Solidarnosc Pl – turn right and walk until you see Legion branch 315.

Take the Lakeshore West train from Port Credit GO to West Harbour GO (about an hour).

Take GO Bus 40 from Square One Shopping Centre, Renforth Transitway Station, or Dixie Transitway Station to Hamilton GO Centre Bus Terminal (about an hour to 1 hr 20 min, depending on starting point, and assuming no traffic).

From Kitchener: Take bus number 20 from Kitchener: Central GRT Station to Victoria St N and Frederick St, or use the Waterloo directions.

From Waterloo: Make your way to University of Waterloo GO Terminal or University Ave/Wilfred Laurier University.

From Guelph: Make your way to University of Guelph GO Terminal.

Take GO Bus 17 to Hamilton GO Centre Bus Terminal (about 2 hours).

Upon exiting the bus, turn towards the bus bays and the road the bus drove on into the terminal (away from the GO station). Do not enter the GO station. Cross the bus road and look for the sign for bus number 2 on your left. Take bus number 2 to Barton at Barnesdale (about 20 min).

Turn right on Barnesdale St N, and the first intersection should be Solidarnosc Pl – turn right and walk until you see Legion branch 315.

Take GO Bus 15 from Brantford Transit Bus Terminal to Main St W and Haddon Ave S (about 35 min).

Cross Main St W/Hwy 8 to Main at Haddon (heading East) and take bus number 5B to Main at John (about 15 min). Cross John St S and walk to John at Jackson bus stop.

Take bus number 2 to Barton at Barnesdale (about 20 min).

Turn right on Barnesdale St N, and the first intersection should be Solidarnosc Pl – turn right and walk until you see Legion branch 315.

Take FlixBus 2702 (book your ticket beforehand) from London (City Plaza – Downtown) to Hamilton (McMaster University) (about 1 hr 45 min).

Cross Main St W/Hwy 8 to Main at Bowman (heading East) and take bus number 5 to Main at John (about 15 min). Cross John St S and walk to John at Jackson bus stop.

OR

Take Via Rail train number 78 Toronto to Aldershot GO Station (about 1.5 hrs).

Take GO Bus 18 to Hamilton GO Station (about 15 min, assuming no traffic).

From St Catherine’s: Make your way to St Catherine’s Fairview Mall.

From Niagara Falls: Make your way to Niagara Falls Bus Terminal.

Take GO Bus 12 to Confederation GO Station (about 40-50 min depending on starting point). Upon exiting the station, turn right (walk East) on Goderich Rd to Centennial Parkway N. Cross Centennial.

Turn right on Centennial and walk about 15 min until you reach Barton St E. Do not cross Barton.

Take bus number 2 to Barton at Barnesdale (about 25 min). Cross Barton and walk straight on Barnesdale St N. The first intersection should be Solidarnosc Pl – turn right and walk until you see Legion branch 315.

Make your way to Toronto Union Station, then follow the instructions for the route from Toronto.

Follow the directions to the escalators down to the GO bus waiting area. There is a waiting area within the building with information screens on the next bus arrival. A couple minutes before the bus arrives, leave the building and cross the road to the centre median, where the bus stop is. Take GO Bus 40 to Hamilton GO Centre Bus Terminal (about 1 hr 25 min, assuming no traffic).

Upon exiting the bus, turn towards the bus bays and the road the bus drove on into the terminal (away from the GO station). Do not enter the GO station. Cross the bus road and look for the sign for bus number 2 on your left. Take bus number 2 to Barton at Barnesdale (about 20 min).

Turn right on Barnesdale St N, and the first intersection should be Solidarnosc Pl – turn right and walk until you see Legion branch 315.

OR

Take the Union Express to Toronto Union Station, then follow the instructions for the route from Toronto. This is about half an hour faster but is more expensive.

If you have time and energy and are up for a challenge…

Take bus number 59, then bus number 50 to 3rd St and Niagara St (about an hour), then walk across the Rainbow International Bridge to Clifton Gate on the Niagara River Parkway, OR Victoria Ave and Walnut St (about 20 min). Enjoy the view of Niagara Falls on the way.

From Clifton Gate, take the Greenline North to Niagara Falls GO/Via/Bus Station.

From Victoria Ave and Walnut St, take bus number 204 to Niagara Falls Bus Terminal.

OTHERWISE

Take bus number 59 (turns into 55) to Portage Road Transportation Center, then Amtrak/ViaRail train number 63 (Maple Leaf) across the border to Niagara Falls Bus Terminal. This will cost more and is about half an hour faster, but is significantly more convenient and less tiring.

From Niagara Falls Bus Terminal, take GO Bus 12 to Confederation GO Station. Upon exiting the station, turn right (walk East) on Goderich Rd to Centennial Parkway N. Cross Centennial.

Turn right on Centennial and walk about 15 min until you reach Barton St E. Do not cross Barton.

Take bus number 2 to Barton at Barnesdale (about 25 min). Cross Barton and walk straight on Barnesdale St N. The first intersection should be Solidarnosc Pl – turn right and walk until you see Legion branch 315.

Take FlixBus 2685 (book your ticket beforehand) to Niagara Falls (about an hour) OR bus number 24, then bus number 77 to 3rd St and Niagara St (about 1 hr 20 min).

Walk across the Rainbow International Bridge to Victoria Ave and Walnut St, OR Clifton Gate on the Niagara River Parkway (about 20 min). Enjoy the view of Niagara Falls on the way.

From Victoria Ave and Walnut St, take bus number 204 to Niagara Falls Bus Terminal.
